1. How do I join?
Registering for our service is completely FREE! All you need to do is enter your
login details and email address, and we will email you a link to activate your account.
Your email address will always be kept private, and will not be visible to other
members. When registering you will be asked to enter a photo of yourself (not compulsory
but our experience shows it increases your chances of chatting to people on the
site by more than four times!) and some simple details which will make your profile
more attractive to like minded people on the site. You are then free to search all
bar & clubs on our comprehensive listing, view all the profiles of our members
and begin to chat online and organise your nights out.

2. What does it cost?
IIt is completely FREE to use Hair of the Dog ! By “completely Free” we mean exactly
that, no hidden charges what so ever ! Luther and Janet weren’t kidding when they
sang “ the Best Things in Life are Free”…
3. Is the website safe?
Meeting people online through our web service is safe. You don't have to give anyone
your personal information like email address, telephone number or address to anyone
unless you feel comfortable doing so. Your correspondence is done through our system
so your details remain anonymous. Only members who you feel confident enough to
invite to join your VIP list can access your social calendar. This means only the
friends you make on the site who you give your express permission to come along
to your nights out can view this information.
We do not encourage our members to freely give out contact information until you
feel completely happy to do so. If you do meet someone for the first time we always
advise you take your mobile with you, meet in a public place, and let a friend know
where you will be.

4. I've forgotten my password/username
If you have forgotten your password or your username , in the login page, click
'forgotten password/username' link and enter your email address. We will immediately
send you an email with your login details.

5. I haven't received my membership activation email
IIf have not immediately received your activation email and the email account you
are using has a spam filter, please check your junk email folder. You may need to
add webmaster@hairofthedog.co.uk
to your address book. If you still have problems please mail support@hairofthedog.co.uk

6. What are VIPs?
Invite other hairofthedog users you get along with to your Very Important People
list. You can then start to view each others calendars and send invites for big
nights out ! Accepting a VIP invite means you then appear on one anothers “My VIPs”
lists. Be aware that accepting a VIP invite means that the user can then view your
own Calendar.

7. How do I change my password?
To change your password, click on 'My Profile' and go to 'Edit'. Enter your current
password, followed by your new password, and click 'Update profile' at the foot
of the page.

8. How do I change my email address?
To change your email address, click on 'My Profile' and go to 'Edit'. Change your
email in the email box and click 'Update profile' at the foot of the page.

9. How do I unregister from Hair Of The
Dog?
Simply go to “ My Profile” , “ edit “ and
then click on “unregister”
