Use of the hairofthedog.co.uk web site ('the web site') constitutes your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

User eligibility to hairofthedog.co.uk

You have not been convicted of any offence under the Protection from Harassment Act (1997), or under any statutory enactment replacing and/or amending such Act, and/or any offence relating to violence.

You have not been subject to any injunction or any order to pay damages under the Protection from Harassment Act (1997), or under any statutory enactment replacing and/or amending such Act.

You must not use the web site if you live outside the UK or Ireland. hairofthedog.co.uk and any agreement related to it is governed by the laws of England and Wales. However, this does not prevent you from using or registering with hairofthedog.co.uk if you are based outside England and Wales, provided that there is nothing in your local law that would override any of these terms. hairofthedog.co.uk makes no representations, warranty, or any other term that the web site or any link, service or advertisement referred to are available for use outside the UK or Ireland.

Basis for contract

These Terms and Conditions act as a legally binding Agreement between hairofthedog.co.uk and the user for the provision of the hairofthedog.co.uk service. The Agreement will only come into effect on our acceptance of your application for membership. No application for membership will be deemed as accepted until you have received confirmation of your membership from hairofthedog.co.uk by email. Users temporarily registering with the site through personal contact with hairofthedog.co.uk representatives must agree with the Terms and Conditions before membership application can be accepted. Confirmation of membership will be received by email, and is separate to the initial email confirming temporary registration to the site.

hairofthedog.co.uk reserve the right to change the conditions of Agreement at any time. Updated conditions will be published on the Terms and Conditions page of the web site and will come into effect immediately.

If you do not accept amendments to the Agreement, you have the right to terminate any agreement you may have with hairofthedog.co.uk and should stop using the site. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of such changes to Agreement.

hairofthedog.co.uk reserves the right to modify, discontinue, or suspend temporarily or permanently the web site without notice. However, where reasonably practicable, reasonable notice of intention to do so will be given.

Continued use of hairofthedog.co.uk following notice of any such changes constitutes acceptance of such changes.

We reserve the right to monitor and at our discretion, remove for any reason, any information, photographs and/or other material submitted by you.

We may copy and/or reproduce any information disclosed by the user in any form and in any manner we wish.

We reserve the right to refuse to register applications for membership, and to terminate memberships at any time.

Any individual whose behaviour on or off the site has resulted in a complaint or a message block, or may reasonably give rise to complaint by another user may be removed from hairofthedog.co.uk site at the absolute discretion of hairofthedog.co.uk without prior warning.

User obligations and undertakings

The user is solely responsible for the information you provide.

You agree:

To provide information about yourself that is true, accurate, current and complete and in no way misleading when you complete the registration for hairofthedog.co.uk

To regularly update this information to ensure that it is kept true, accurate, current and complete and not in any way misleading.

To allow other members to view your profile, and view other members profiles.

Not to take out additional or duplicate memberships, whether registered or subscribing.

Not to disclose any photos that contain nudity or otherwise offensive material in any areas of the
hairofthedog.co.uk that are accessible to the public or other members.

hairofthedog.co.uk reserves the right, but has no obligation, to reject or remove any profile or photo that does not comply with the regulations set out in the Terms and Conditions.

Not to disclose or send to any other member any harmful, vulgar, harassing, abusive, obscene, offensive, sexual, sexually suggestive, libellous, tortuous, anatomical, racist or otherwise objectionable messages to other users in any communications on or off the site.

Not to disclose any personal details such as your telephone number, street address, postcode last name, email address or urls or any other material to other members that would allow any member or user to contact you directly. If you do disclose any confidential or sensitive information about yourself to other users, you do so entirely at your own risk.

You will not:

Use hairofthedog.co.uk for any unlawful purposes.

Attempt to or gain unauthorised access to other computer systems or networks connected to the hairofthedog.co.uk site.

Interfere with or disrupt the hairofthedog.co.uk web site servers, or networks connected to it.

Attempt to or gain unauthorised access to any information and/or material which the Intellectual Property Rights belong to another individual or party without first obtaining the prior consent of the owner of such rights.

Use hairofthedog.co.uk in a way that may transmit any matter containing a virus, corrupted files, 'Trojan Horse', or any other hostile programmes or software. Use hairofthedog.co.uk to transmit to other users 'junk mail', 'chain letters', 'spam' mail or any other unsolicited distribution of marketing or other materials or communications (without limitation) those connected to pyramid selling schemes

Hire, transfer and/or authorise any other individual to access the site through your membership

Impersonate another individual, including but not limited to any other members of hairofthedog.co.uk while using the site

Use hairofthedog.co.uk in a way or for a purpose that violates the rights of another individual, including, but not limited to the intellectual property rights of another individual.

Copy or reproduce in part or full anything published on hairofthedog.co.uk. Directly or indirectly undermine, insult or attack the beliefs and/or traditions of any individual on
hairofthedog.co.uk

Disclose any information considered confidential or personal about other members (past or present) or
hairofthedog.co.uk

Compromise the use and enjoyment of other users at hairofthedog.co.uk, in a way that is or could be considered abusive and/or annoying to other users.

Price and payment

Hair of the dog is free to use, there is no charge and no bank details or credit card details are required. 

Use of hairofthedog.co.uk service

hairofthe dog.co.uk provides an opportunity for members to disclose information about themselves and allow members to contact each other through the web site should they wish to do so. From time to time, hairofthedog.co.uk also advertises on independently run affiliate events.

You must not assume that information contained in any profile of a member is necessarily correct and accurate. Profiles are completley defined and written by a member of the web site and are a manifestation of how that member wishes to describe themself.

hairofthedog.co.uk is under not obligation to verify any information contained in any members profiles.

hairofthedog.co.uk does not have the opportunity to check that its members profiles are accurate and not misleading. We do not make any warranty or representation that the information contained in any profile is accurate.

Before acting on any information contained in any profile or any information received by you through
hairofthedog.co.uk through your use of the service, you should at your own cost and expense carry out any such investigation you feel is necessary to satisfy yourself of the truth and accuracy of such information.

If you arrange any meetings with any person through hairofthedog.co.uk, whether it be your own meeting, or at an affiliated event advertised on the site, then you do so at entirely your own risk. Termination

Either party may terminate this Agreement at any time for any reason. hairofthedog.co.uk may terminate (without liability to you) with immediate effect the use of the web site by you, and delete files in your account if hairofthedog.co.uk:

Suspects abusive, threatening, fraudulent or illegal activity

Suspects information disclosed is damaging or potentially damaging to the interests of the business

Reasonably believes you have breached the terms of this Agreement

Is unable to determine the accuracy and/or validity of any information disclosed by you

Reasonably believes it necessary for any other technical or business reason.

We may immediately suspend and/or terminate your access to hairofthedog.co.uk without notice if you fail to make any payment to us when due, and/or if you breach the terms of this Agreement. In any such case, hairofthedog.co.uk reserves the right to keep any fees you have paid.

Warranties

hairofthedog.co.uk does not in any way guarantee that the service it provides, or any element of the service will meet your requirements, purpose and/or expectations. We do not warrant that any information and/or material provided on the web site is accurate.

hairofthedog.co.uk provides the web site on an 'as is' basis, and cannot guarantee the functionality of the web site, or that the web site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error free.

Intellectual property rights

hairofthedog.co.uk owns all intellectual property rights and all copyrights of all natures in the web site.

You confirm that you are the sole author of any information disclosed in your profile on the web site. You assign to hairofthedog.co.uk with full title guarantee all copyright to your profile.

You agree that any material or information presented to you on hairofthedog.co.uk, including any partners or advertisers is to be used solely for non-commercial use, and must not be copied, reproduced, distributed without express authorisation from its author.

Confidentiality and storage of information provided

hairofthedog.co.uk holds no responsibility for the storage of any information or materials on your behalf. All information you wish to preserve should be maintained on backup copies independently.

Dealings with third parties

hairofthedog.co.uk does not endorse and is not in any way responsible or liable for any advertising, products, materials or other services provided or available from third parties.

Any correspondence, transactions or dealings with third parties that are made available on hairofthedog.co.uk, including but not limited to payment and delivery of goods, services and any other terms and conditions, warranties, or representations associated with such dealings are solely between you and such third party.

You agree not to hold hairofthedog.co.uk liable for any loss or damage of any sort incurred as a result of the presence, availability or non-availability of third parties on or through the web site; any dealings with third parties, including, but in no way limited to attendance at events advertised, or purchase of goods or services offered on or through

Limitations on liability

hairofthedog.co.uk has no liability for any defect in the service contributed to or caused by you and/or any other member.

hairofthedog.co.uk has no liability to you if any charges are owed by you, that have not been paid in full by the due date for payment.

You will give hairofthedog.co.uk a reasonable opportunity to rectify any matter for which we are liable before you incur any costs and/or expenses in remedying this matter yourself. If you do not do so, hairofthedog.co.uk has absolutely no liability for you.

You will produce written evidence to hairofthedog.co.uk for any claims it is alleged we are liable for, together with written details of how any loss was caused by us, and the steps you have taken to mitigate the loss before we have any liability for the claim by you.

We will have no liability to you arising from your use of hairofthedog.co.uk web site and/or your reliance on any information and/or other material disclosed on the web site or disclosed to you by other members.

It is possible that other users and/or unauthorised users can obtain and misuse information and/or other material about you as a result of your use of the hairofthedog.co.uk service. We will have no liability to you arising from any user and/or unauthorised user's misuse of information and/or other material disclosed by you on the service, and/or to other members.

We have no liability to you for any consequential losses (including but not limited to loss of profit, damage to reputation, damage to goodwill, loss of data, loss of programmes and/or service interruptions), economic and/or other similar losses, and or special damages and indirect losses.

Our total liability to you under and/or arising in relation to any claim in contract, negligence, tort (or other legal liability) pursuant to these terms and conditions shall not in any circumstances exceed £150.

Nothing in this Agreement excludes hairofthedog.co.uk our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence and such other liability which cannot be excluded by law.

We have no liability to you for any delay in performance of hairofthedog.co.uk and/or any other matters to the extent that such events and/or matters are due to any events outside our reasonable control including, but not limited to acts of war, God, flood, fire, strikes, lock-outs, labour disputes, riots, civil commotion, explosion, malicious damage, governmental actions or any other similar events.

hairofthedog.co.uk has no control over third party content and information which can be accessed using the web site. hairofthedog.co.uk will be excluded from all liability of any kind arising from such content or information. hairofthedog.co.uk will not be liable whatsoever, for any loss or damage arising from use of any service provided by a third party.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify hairofthedog.co.uk harmless from any and all losses, costs (including increased administration costs and legal costs on a full indemnity basis), damages, claims, actions and any other losses and/or liabilities suffered by
hairofthedog.co.uk or its affiliates, and /or arising from you and/or relating to you use of the service, information and/or other material on the web site disclosed by you and/or arising from or due to any breach of this Agreement. In such case as above, where hairofthedog.co.uk is entitled to be indemnified by you and/or in breach of this Agreement, you agree that hairofthedog.co.uk is permitted to contact you through the information provided by you on hairofthedog.co.uk
